Paige Street Fires May Be Arson
While fire officials said the Saturday blaze at a Cartersville duplex was "small," it's the second recent fire on the same street.
A Saturday fire on Paige Street has fire officials wondering if it and a previous fire may have been the result of arson.
officials said Sunday the blaze at a vacant duplex, including units at 17, 18 and 19 Paige St., was "small" and confined to the attic following the response about 10 p.m.

In the latest fire, the tenant had moved three days prior, and firefighters believe the blaze started on a outside wall dividing the units' patios, and spread to the roof and a shared attic.
Flames damaged two of the duplexes and crews had to pull the ceilings to confine the fire. Both homes were secured when firefighters arrived.
