Purse Stolen from Hospital Leads Cops to Walmart

Bartow County sheriff's authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who allegedly used the victim's credit cards at the Cartersville store.

Bartow County Sheriff's Office investigators trying to identify an alleged office thief are asking the public to take a look at surveillance photos.

Authorities say someone removed a wallet from a nurse's purse at Cartersville Medical Center on Nov. 19 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. A short time later, surveillance video captured an unidentified African-American woman allegedly using the victim's credit card at Walmart.

The female suspect got into a red or maroon SUV, also shown in the surveillance video. It's believed to be either a Ford Explorer or a Chevy Blazer.
