Nude Hiker Spotted in Bartow County, Again

Two women told the naked man to turn and go the other way.

A Waleska pair spotted a nude hiker Wednesday on a walking trail in Pine Log and it isn't the first time such has been reported in that area of Bartow County.

The women, a mother and her grown daughter, said they were walking along the trail off Highway 140, apparently in the Pine Log Wildlife Management Area, just north of Cartersville on Highway 411, when they spotted the man about 12:30 p.m., according to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office incident report, above.

The mom, 49, said she heard someone walking down the trail and saw an older, Caucasian man walking toward her and her daughter, 29. The hiker was nude, "with no clothing on," according to the report.

Deputies were unable to find the man.

Three years ago, several people reported seeing a nude hiker in the same area, reported The Daily Tribune News. Three women said at that time they saw a man in his 40s or 50s, wearing only a Bear Bryant style hat and tennis shoes, walking Pine Log Creek Trail in Rydal.
