Man Killed after Fleeing Gunman – Marietta Patch

Marietta Police are investigating a murder involving an ex-boyfriend and another man.

Marietta Police Officers responded to a report of a person shot at 113 Griggs Street at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.  When officers arrived they found the victim, Arthur Moses Jr, 24 of Marietta, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

One Killed in Overnight Shooting –Smyrna-Vinings Patch

Smyrna police are investigating an overnight shooting that left one person dead.

During the shooting at a home near South Cobb Drive, multiple shots were fired, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Neighbors told Channel 2 Action News that the gunman knocked on the front door, and after someone inside told the gunman, ‘we don’t know you,’ the door closed and the gunman fired multiple shots before fleeing. See more on this story on Smyrna-Vinings Patch.

Just hours after a large shipment of weapons arrived at a local gun store, burglars struck the shop and stole numerous handguns, tactical rifles and shotguns.

According to business owner David Duncan, Big Gun Armory received two large deliveries on Friday afternoon.
