Another Tech Fan Falls Over Bobby Dodd Railing

For the second time in as many Saturday afternoons, a Georgia Tech fan toppled over a Bobby Dodd Stadium railing during a Yellow Jacket football defeat.

According to WSB Channel 2, a Tech freshman fell 15 feet in the northwest bleacher section at Grant Field during Middle Tennessee State’s 49-28 win over Tech.

Judge: Felony Charge Against Jessica Colotl Stands

Cobb County Superior Court Judge Mary Staley refused to toss a felony charge against Jessica Colotl, the Kennesaw State University graduate whose 2010 arrest for a minor traffic violation brought national attention to the issue of illegal immigrants in public colleges.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Cobb District Attorney Pat Head this week will file a motion in the case. Because Colotl did "everything she was required to do" as part of an agreement that his office made with her, the false swearing charge should be dismissed, Head told the AJC.

PGA Champions Tour May Be Coming to Gwinnett

It's looking more and more like pro golf will tee it up again in Gwinnett in 2013.

Gwinnett tourism officials and the PGA Champions Tour have scheduled a news conference for Tuesday at the prestigious TPC Sugarloaf Course in Duluth. And Gwinnett officials already have acknowledged that they were discussing an event with the PGA Champions Tour for 2013.
