Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident in Marietta - Marietta Patch

The Marietta Police Department Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) is investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident.

The accident occurred at 7:43 p.m. Sunday on Powder Springs Street, according to Marietta Police.

A 55-year-old male was riding a bicycle on Powder Springs Street near Natchez Trace when he was struck by what witnesses describe as a black SUV, Police said. Visit Marietta Patch for more.

Authorities Searching for Missing 17-Year-Old - Oconee Patch

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is searching for 17-year-old Joshua Stuart, identified as a missing person in a Nixle alert sent Sunday night.

Joshua has brown eyes and brown hair, according to the advisory, and was wearing jeans and a yellow striped polo shirt. He was last seen driving a silver 2012 Honda Civic with Georgia tag BSJ 8391.

- Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch

Worshipers at a Woodstock church arrived on Sunday morning eager to participate in an Easter service.

However, what they found was locked doors and, according to WSBTV, the man at the center of a longstanding dispute with the congregation was the perpetrator.

A Savannah man was arrested Friday after police say he climbed into a wildlife center's wolf enclosure bearing sugar, soy milk and a nearly empty bottle of Kahlua.

According to a Morris News Service report, Savannah police were called to Oatland Island Wildlife Center at about noon, after visitors to the center reported that a man was in the wolf pen. Police say John Frazier Floyd, 26, fled the pen when they arrived, and they commandeered a utility vehicle to chase after him as he ran through several other enclosures and down a trail.
