Most Wanted: James Damon Robinson

The 43-year-old Cartersville man is wanted on drug distribution, firearms and theft charges. Authorities say he's fled twice this week.

Bartow County Sheriff's Office adds a mugshot each week to its list of Bartow's Most Wanted, people who have been accused of crimes, not convicted. They are presumed innocent until the court system settles their cases.

Suspect: James Damon Robinson, 43

  • Description: African-American man; 5-feet-11-inches tall and 200 pounds; black hair and brown eyes.
  • Accusation: Robinson, who twice this week allegedly fled on foot from deputies in the Weems Spur-Sugar Valley Road area, is wanted on drug distribution, firearms and theft charges, including:
    Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession of Schedule III Narcotics with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule II Narcotics with Intent to Distribute, Obstruction of Officers, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.

Anyone with information on Robinson's whereabouts should call 911 and notify the dispatcher he is a wanted person. BCSO's phone line for anonymous tips is 770-606-TIPS (8477) and now tipsters can report information via the department's Facebook page.
