Original Report

Cartersville police are asking for the community's help finding a missing mentally-challenged man.

In a mass communication by phone, Capt. Mark Camp said police are looking for an African-American man named Jeremiah Ferrell, who was last seen on foot on Forrest Avenue in Cartersville.

Ferrell, who stands 6-feet-1-inch tall and weighs about 170 pounds, may have been trying to walk to the Kroger store in nearby Dallas, where he works, according to Camp.

He was wearing black pants and navy shirt, which may display a Kroger name tag containing “Love.”

If you see Ferrell, call 911 and tell dispatchers his location.
