Man Says He Was Stabbed 3 Times at Cartersville Motel

He went to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment and was bandaged on his left arm, neck and back.

A local man says he was stabbed three times as he walked Tuesday outside a Cartersville motel.

The 20-year-old resident of Guest House at 204 Felton Road told authorities he was walking to the Dumpster about 9:30 p.m. when an older, African-American male, accompanied by a Caucasian female, approached. The man cursed and stabbed the victim three times, he said, according to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office incident report, above.

Less than 30 minutes later, police were called to Cartersville Medical Center, where the victim was being treated. He was bandaged on his left arm, neck and back.

Police didn't find any witnesses or evidence at Guest House.
