Man Had $13,000 Taped To Inside of His Underwear

The Decatur man, who witnesses said became agitated, was arrested after allegedly assaulting a store manager in Cartersville,

A man jailed on assault and obscene language charges in Cartersville was found to have $13,000 in $100 bills taped to the inside of his underwear, according to the Cartersville Police Department incident report.

Witnesses said Frederick Dorell Pass, 41, of Decatur, wanted to return a recorder at Radio Shack, but became agitated when the manager wanted to ensure it was working properly during the Monday incident about 7:25 p.m.

Pass allegedly used a racial slur and swung his fist at the alleged victim, striking the manager on the right arm.

Due to his "aggressive behavior," police took Pass straight to jail, according to the report, attached. He was agitated and allegedly verbally aggressive toward an officer.

Pass was charged with simple battery and using fighting words.

"Once at the jail Mr. Pass was found to have $13,000 dollars in 100 dollar bills taped to the inside of his underwear," the report says.
