Four Wounded in Knife Fight, But Nobody Admits to the Crime

Party during snowstorm ends with fight, lacerations.

A party during this week's snowstorm resulted in at least four people suffering knife wounds, but nobody knew who was to blame.

The Bartow County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at Cartersville Medical Center about an aggravated assault just after midnight on Feb. 13.

A deputy writes in the incident report that at least four people, including two students from Georgia Highlands College, were cut when a party on Rosewood Lane ended with punches and knife wounds.

Witnesses said the fight started after one of the injured arrived at the party and was confronted by the party host. Why the fight started was not reported, and none of the witnesses told police they knew who had the knife, nor the weapon.

The party host suffered two long cuts on his hand, another had a chest wound and the person who arrived with his cousin had a cut on his right hand. The cousin also was wounded on a hand.

The case is under investigation.
