Family, Friends: Help ID Hit-and-Run Driver in Fatal Crash

Christina Mae Warner, 27, of Cartersville, died at the scene of the Highway 41 incident shortly after midnight.

Georgia State Patrol spokesman Gordy Wright said authorities have description of the hit-and-run car other than it's a dark blue passenger vehicle.

Anyone with information should contact the state patrol post in Cartersville at 770-387-3701.

The family and friends of the woman struck and killed on Highway 41 in Cartersville are asking motorists to help authortities identify a suspected hit-and-run driver.

Christina Mae Warner, 27, of Cartersville, died at the scene of the incident, which happened Tuesday shortly after midnight.

Attention Bartow County and surrounding areas, we need your help!
This is Christina Scott Warner. This is the woman that was killed in the hit and run on Monday night/Tuesday morning at approximately 12:10am. She was hit at the intersection of Mac Johnson Rd and Hwy 41 by a blue 4 door sedan. There will be extensive damage to the front passenger side of the car. If you know anything, please contact Bartow County Sheriffs Office, the GBI, or Crime Stoppers. Please do not be afraid to come forward with any information. This woman was loved by so many. She was a loved granddaughter, daughter, sister, mother of 2, soldier, and friend to many. She touched the lives of so many, help us find justice for her. Thank you.

Who did the authorities notify of the description of the vehicle other than a dark blue sedan? What is the updated description? Why hasn't it been released? They most certainly did not notify the family!!
