Cops: Help ID Man Who Used Stolen Credit Card

Bartow County authorities say the man was captured on surveillance footage at he exited Walmart in Cartersville.

Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying a man accused of using a credit card lost by a local resident.

The man captured in the photo above leaving Walmart about 9 a.m., Dec. 20, had just used the stolen credit card, according to a Bartow County Sheriff's Office post on Facebook. A local resident Dec. 19 reported to Cartersville police someone had taken her debit card after she lost it at Ingles on West Avenue.

After misplacing the card, the victim checked her bank account and discovered someone was using her card around Cartersville.

Anyone who can identify the man or has information about the case is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Division at 770-382-5050, extension 6030, or submitt a tip on the BCSO's Facebook page.
