Complaints of Injuries in School Bus Crash

Georgia State Patrol officials say preliminary investigation indicates a car sideswiped the bus with children on board.

A carrying children and green Buick Solara collided about 9 a.m. on Cass-White Road near its intersection with Cassville Road.

Cpl. Andrew Gideon said no one was seriously injured, but the crash resulted in complaints of injuries. Children on the bus were checked by emergency medical crews, then carried to their destination by another school bus.

Gideon said his preliminary investigation concluded the Solara, driven by a woman, sideswiped the bus, which came to rest with its front right wheel in a ditch.
