Chatsworth Man Charged in Cartersville Walmart Stalking Case

The 54-year-old man works in Bartow County.

Bartow County Sheriff Clark Millsap said in a news release that investigators today identified a possible suspect in the case of a 65-year-old woman who was allegedly stalked in the Cartersville Walmart parking lot.

The announcement comes after numerous tips "poured into the sheriff's office about the photos released of the suspected stalker," according to the release.

As investigators were in the field following up on these tips, Lloyd Bruce King, 54, of Chatsworth, turned himself in to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office.

He was positively identified as the offender in the incident and was booked into Bartow County jail on one count of stalking and one count of criminal trespass.

He is currently being held on a $4,000 bond. King lives in Chatsworth but was in Cartersville on the day of this incident because he works in Bartow County.

No further charges are expected at this time.
