Police suspect a different individual was responsible for one or more of the other burglaries. That person is still at large.

The three who have been arrested allegedly attempted to cash at Century Bank on East Main Street a check stolen from one of the businesses. The trio then went to Family Credit Union on Old Mill Road, where they were apprehended.

“This was excellent police work by our officers," Culpepper said in the release.  "We continue to investigate the other incidents and hope to have a resolution soon.”

The investigations are continuing and authorities say they'll provide updates as they become available.
