Cartersville Police Investigating Convenience Store Robbery

Four men entered the Kangaroo store on Joe Frank Harris Parkway, and allegedly took money, lottery tickets and cigarettes from the store.

Cartersville police are asking the public to help them identify two suspects they believe are connected to the robbery of a convenience store last week. 

The robbery occurred on Monday, May 12 at the Kangaroo convenience store at 898 Joe Frank Harris Parkway. Four suspects were involved, and surveillance video from the store captured the faces of two suspects. 

According to a Cartesrville Police Department incident report, one witness told the responding officer that four men entered the store with trash bags and began to take miscellaneous items from behind the counter. The store employee noted the men grabbed "multiple packs of cigarettes and lottery tickets," the report states.

The employee said she opened the cash drawer, and an unknown man grabbed the money and fled the scene.
