A Cartersville police officer stopped a black Toyota Avalon after seeing the passenger wasn't wearing a seatbelt, the vehicle had a cracked windshield and its exhaust was almost scraping the ground.

The officer saw that the passenger was doing a lot of moving around, and had his seatbelt on when he approached the driver. He said the driver appeared nervous, and tried to stuff her purse between the seat, so he asked for her consent to search for drugs, guns or stolen items.

Inside the driver's purse he found two white pills that he suspected were oxycodone and a half a pill that appeared to be hydrocodone. The officer's report said that the driver admitted the pills were hers, but she didn't have a prescription. She said a friend gives her the pills for free because she can't afford to go to the doctor for back pain.

Brandy Lee Ingle, 33, of Cartersville, was arrested and charged with possession of schedule II and schedule III drugs, and drugs not in original container.
