Original Report
A 13-year-old boy, who had just gotten off the school bus, was severely injured today when a vehicle struck him on Euharlee Road, Euharlee Police Chief Terry Harget said.
The teen, a Bartow County Schools student, got off the bus and went to the mailbox, then turned to get back on the road and was struck in the roadway at Price Mobile Home Park. He was airlifted to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, but Harget didn't know the extent of his injuries, other than "severe," or if they're life threatening.
The accident is still under investigation, and no charges have filed at this time.
It happened near the Dollar General, according to Bartow Scanner, whose Facebook fans, many locals in the area at the time, comment on the incident and helicopter landing.

What happened here is a tragic accident, and pointing fingers without facts (or assuming that you know them) is nothing more than asking for a mid evil lynching. The fault is not for backseat Facebook drivers who were not even witness to this horrific accident to decide. If you want to help, pray for all involved including the driver of the car, even if it happens that this is of negligence, her life will never be the same.
