A Rydal man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning when he lost control of his car attempting to get on Interstate 75 at the Cass-White Road exit.
A spokesperson for the Georgia State Patrol said that Stephen G. Bailey Black, 23, lost control of his Nissan 350Z around 1 a.m., which left the roadway and then hit a fence and a tree.
Black died at the scene and was extricated from the vehicle. Officials said they don’t know why Black lost control of the vehicle, but that alcohol was not a factor.
