Alleged Waterford Thieves Arrested
Cartersville police arrested two men they say they found with cocaine and a stolen credit card.
Early Sunday morning, two men were arrested near the entrance of the Waterford subdivision.
had been contacted earlier that morning, around 3 a.m, for suspicious activity. The two men reportedly had been walking through the lawns of residents on Glen Cove Road after leaving an aquaintance's house.
When the group was confronted by police, one allegedly fled while the other stayed. One of the men was identified as Franklin Johnson, and after agreeing to a pat down, was allegedly found in possession of cocaine.

The man that fled from the officers was later discovered in a bush nearby and allegedly was in possession of a missing credit card.
Both men were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, and the missing credit card was returned to it's owner.
