911 Call Reveals Details in the Case of Missing Girl

Bartow County authorities say the 9-year-old child was found "safe and apparently unharmed."

authorities based in Cartersville found a girl who had been reported missing following a 911 call in which she apparently reported an attempted suicide.

According to Sheriff Clark Millsap in a press release, about 3:40 p.m. Monday, deputies and investigators went to the , a Glade Road motel in Acworth, in response to a medical call.

Upon their arrival, deputies located the 9-year-old girl, identified as Aliyah Walton in an Amber Alert issued earlier Monday in Riverdale. "The child was located safe and apparently unharmed," the press release states.

According to Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Millsap said 33-year-old William Nazario, a person of interest in a Clayton County homicide, was found at the hotel with the girl. He was taken to with wounds, 11 Alive reported.

Earlier Monday, Walton was reported missing from a home near Riverdale in which a woman was found dead. Two other children, ages 4 and 12, were found tied up, according to AJC.
