Local News

So with all the changes at Patch are we going to have any more local news or is that permanently over?

Hello, we're here to still provide local news. Please send your news tips to me at hunt.archbold@patch.com or scott.bernarde@patch.com. Thanks and have a great weekend.

You need reader's news tips to publish the daily Bartow County Jail Intake Report? Please explain.

That's not what I wrote, JJ. ... If anyone has a news tip, good news, etc., please feel free to contact me via email or phone. Thanks and have a great week, Cartersville.

On other words they really don't any local journalists anymore and depend on readers to provide them with news. What a joke.

Not exactly, Hunt! Your initial reply to StringBean was "Hello, we're here to still provide local news..." We have not had a Bartow County Jail Intake Report since January 28, when we last had a local editor of Patch. I understand that Cartersville is not a priority but could you at least take the time to post that link daily? Thanks.

@Hunt I would love to be Cartersville's local editor if Patch is interested in filling that position. That's not the main reason I'm reaching out to you. There is an issue with Patch's Mobile App. I wrote a blog yesterday & shared it on my networks, but there's something wrong with the link. I have messaged, emailed, etc. Patch multiple times but no one will assist or respond.

Brandy, please give me a call today anytime after 10 a.m. and we can chat. 678-620-7320. Also, currently the best email to reach Scott or I is hunt.archbold@patch.com or scott.bernarde@patch.com. Thanks.
