Business Customer Service

I'm tired of hearing about how bad the economy is and how business is slow.  I've been trying to hire licensed/insured companies for various jobs around a facility I work for and you wouldn't believe the lack of customer service I am experiencing.  Need a paving company to repair the parking lot, windows caulked and/or replaced.  The number of contractors who don't return calls, don't show up to scheduled appointments and don't send requested quotes is ridiculous!  You say you need business - well then act like it!  If you think my company will give you another chance to bid on a job when you don't show up when scheduled or just ignore calls, you are sadly mistaken.  If you need the business, you have to act like it!
