Runners, Register for Advocates for Children's Jingle Jog

Participants will lead the Cartersville Christmas parade along the parade route to collect donations for the Bartow County nonprofit.

Advocates is proud to tie on jingle bells and host the second annual Jingle Jog fun run set for Cartersville in December. Partnering with the Cartersville Exchange Club, runners will lead the Cartersville Christmas parade along the parade route and then settle in with thousands of others to ring in the holiday season watching the parade, according to a press release.

Sponsored by Gary Fox CPA and McDonalds, the Jingle Jog is a 1.4-mile fun run for all ages and ability levels. Participants are asked to dress up in their wackiest holiday gear and prizes will be awarded to our favorite costume and the overall winner of the race. Each runner will also receive bells for jingling down Main Street, glow sticks, a long sleeved signature T-shirt and a sweet treat at the end of the race.

All proceeds will benefit Advocates for Children, a nonprofit organization in Cartersville that serves more than 2,600 children in northwest Georgia who have fallen victim to abuse, neglect and abandonment. Advocates’ mission is to strengthen our community of families by offering safety, comfort and hope to children and preventing child abuse in all its forms.
