Local Venues Plan New Year's Eve Events
There are several local events for partygoers to choose from.
Atlanta may have its Peach Drop on New Year's Eve, but has a variety of options for those who want to go out and ring in the new year as well. Last call is at 1:30 a.m.
-- There will be a DJ upstairs and acoustic music downstairs. In addition, something new will be announced that evening.
-- The Jones Brothers promotional party will be the featured entertainment.

Legend's Tavern (formerly Cledus T's Hick-Hop and Honkytonk) -- Live entertainment is planned, as well as a variety of drink specials. Admission is free before 9 p.m. and $10 after 9 p.m.
-- The Hilton is offering a romance package as well as a champagne toast at midnight for all in-house guests.
