Planning to trick-or-treat this year?
Trick-or-treating is an old custom, but it’s no longer just about going to your neighbor’s homes. In fact, trick-or-treaters may find dark, empty homes in their own neighborhoods on Halloween night.
Some neighborhoods still welcome costumed kids and shopping centers and other groups offer trick-or-treating events, such as Target's Cherokee Place and the many church trunk-or-treats available in the area.
