'Hiring Our Heroes' Job Fair for Vets and Military Spouses

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s National Chamber Foundation and The American Legion will host Hiring Our Heroes in Cartersville, a hiring fair for veterans and military spouses.


More than 20 employers are expected to participate with jobs available for veterans and military spouses of all ranks and levels of experience. Companies range from America's biggest employers to small companies from across the region.

Since its launch, Hiring Our Heroes has held more than 400 hiring fairs nationwide, helping more than 14,000 veterans and military spouses find employment.


This event is also part of Hiring 500,000 Heroes, a national campaign announced by the U.S. Chamber, National Chamber Foundation, and Capital One, to engage the business community in committing to hire 500,000 veterans and military spouses by the end of 2014.

This hiring event is being held in partnership with The American Legion, Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment & Training Service (DOL VETS), the Georgia Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and other local partners.

The National Chamber Foundation (NCF), a non-profit affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated to identifying and fostering public debate on emerging critical issues. They provide business and government leaders with insight and resources to address tomorrow's challenges.
