Bruce Thompson, Chairman of the Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce, will pass the torch to new leadership this Saturday night with a gala capping off an incredible year of growth and opportunity at the 73rd Annual Chairman’s Celebration at the Clearance Brown Center.
“The venue itself has taken on new significance with the retirement of Commissioner Clearance Brown who helped shape the Cartersville area for more than twenty years,” Thompson said. “We have had a great year adding more than seventy businesses including the recent groundbreaking of Lake Pointe Sports new facilities. We have a lot to celebrate so having two great guests here is going to make the Chairman’s Celebration very special.”
Lee Greenwood, who’s 1984 smash patriotic hit God Bless The USA has become almost as popular as our national anthem, will be performing for the expected audience of 600 business leaders, residents and celebrities.
Todd Gongwer, a championship basketball coach & entrepreneur turned inspirational speaker and author, will be sharing motivation from his skyrocketing success Lead…For God’ Sake. The book is gaining national attention for its timely story of how God inspires people to live their passions and passionately live.
