NEW GEORGIA PUBLIC LIBRARY HONORS BLACK HISTORY MONTH:

On February 14 at 2:00 Mr. Ike Sims will be at New Georgia Public Library. He will talk about his experiences as one of the very first African-American students to integrate Paulding County School System. Also, Mr. Charles Rachel will speak of being one of the first African Amercian school-bus drivers in Paulding County. He is in his 80's and he will share the wisdom of his years. Both gentlemen are a living part of the history of this area. New GA. Library is located at 94 Ridge Rd (about seven miles south of downtown Dallas) PCTV will come to film for the local channel.
