"An Evening at Valley View"

The Etowah Valley Historical Society presents "An Evening at Valley View", an event to benefit the Oral History Project.  The evening includes wine and a silent auction, dinner by Johnny Mitchel's, music by Stephen Lee and touring and socializing in the antebellum Greek Revival plantation home.  Many special items have been donated for the auction:  a congressional cookbook, art, photography, antiques, professional services and restaurant and chef's certificates for products and meals.  Oral histories cost a minimum of $250. each.  and there are many beloved Bartow County citizens whose first hand accounts of the life and times of their era need to be recorded.  Please join us on June 8th. at 6:00 pm, 100 Valley View Farm Rd. SW, Cartersville, Ga. 30120 and bid on your favorite item, enjoy the food, music, visiting and touring.  Cost is $25.00 per person.  Make reservations by calling Genie Certain at 770-383-3533.
