Bundle the kids up for school – the freeze watch starts at 2 a.m. Tuesday, but it doesn't end until 10 a.m.

The freezing temperatures will impact early budding and flowering vegetation. Strong winds can make driving difficult. Boats, too, should exercise extra caution, as rough chop could occur on area lakes.

Temperatures on this spring morning will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

"Those with agricultural interests in the watch area should make preparations to protect sensitive vegetation and young trees," the National Weather Service advises.

Monday will be partly sunny with a high near 48, according to the National Weather Service. On Tuesday there's a slight chance of snow before 11 a.m., then a slight chance of rain between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. It will stay cool with a high near 47. Even after the wind advisory expires, it will be windy.
