Windy is a terrific combination of dogs - probably Jack Russell and Whippet - which means she's an energetic, bouncy kind of dog. She's on the small side, which makes her the perfect size to throw in the car and take to the park. Her lovely coloring makes her look like a fawn - so watch out for hunters during the fall!

The Etowah Valley Humane Society is a no-kill humane society that specializes in having terrific dogs and cats that make great life-long companions. Visit our adoption center from noon to five p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays to visit our puppies, dogs, cats and kittens that are looking for new homes.
Volunteers are always welcome and we always need newspapers for our puppy cages. If you're able to drop by some canned cat or dog food, that'd be terrific and the fur-kids would appreciate it.
