EVHS Pet of the Week: Shilo

Volunteers and donations are always needed by our animals. If you have extra dog food, cat food or kitty litter, please drop it by the EVHS campus.

Shilo is a surprising big dog in a small dog package. She combines the best of both worlds. She's the delightful combination of a Flat-Coated Retriever and a Bassett Hound, which means she has the retriever body and the short legs of a Bassett.

Shilo is a family friendly girl that won't take up much room on the couch or your bed. She's been spayed, has all her shots, has been heartworm tested and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is only $175 and adoption applications can be found here: www.etowahvalleyhumane.org.

The Etowah Valley Humane Society has several varieties of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens available for adoption. Please visit EVHS campus at 36 Ladds Mountain Road, Cartersville during Adoption Days - Wednesdays through Sundays from noon to five p.m. If you have any questions about our adoptable animals, please call Malena, our Adoption Coordinator, at 770-383-3338.
