EVHS Pet of the Week: Lance, 1-Year-Old Border Collie
If you have any questions about Lance or Logan, please talk to our Adoption Coordinator, Malena, at the shelter from Wednesdays through Sundays at 770-383-3338.
Border Collies were developed in Scotland to herd sheep. Many Americans have found the Border's athleticism great for frisbee or agility trials. This highly intelligent dog likes to keep busy and have an active lifesytle. A professor in North Carolina has taught his Border Collie to recognize and respond to over 1,022 words.
Border Collies demand an active lifestyle and intellectual stimulation but make wonderful companions. Lance and Logan are one year old male Border Collies who are up for adoption with the Etowah Valley Humane Society at 36 Ladds Mountain Road, Cartersville. He's already been tested negative for heartworms, has his shots, has been neutered and already has a microchip. His adoption fee is only $175 and you can complete an adoption application here: www.etowahvalleyhumane.org.
