THE most popular dog breed in America is the Labrador Retriever. This breed is usually used as a hunting dog. Its webbed feet make it an excellent swimmer. It's widely used by police and other official bodies for their detection and working abilities. Typically, Labradors are athletic and love to swim, play catch and retrieve games, are good with young children, elderly, and for protection. They are also used as guide dogs to help blind people.
Cole is a one year old lab mix that's as sweet as can be. He's over the puppy drama while still being young and playful. Cole would make your family an excellent companion. He's on the smaller side for his breed, which makes him easy to tuck into your SUV to go for rides. Cole is up for adoption at the Etowah Valley Humane Society at 36 Ladds Mountain Road, Cartersville. He has been heartworm tested, has been neutered, has all his shots and is ready to go home to become your family's best friend. An adoption application can be found here: www.etowahvalleyhumane.org.
Etowah Valley Humane Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal welfare agency that would appreciate any donations or volunteer hours that you could spare. We always need newspapers, dog food, cat food and kitty litter donations. Thank you!
