The expo will work to help current service members and veterans connect with employers looking for the skills gained while serving in the military. It takes place at Chattahoochee Technical College's Acworth Campus, 5198 Ross Road, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The GDOL has brought together a team to support State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler’s initiative to address employment needs facing some 80,000 veterans expected to return home during the next four years.
"We, at the Georgia Department of Labor, understand the sacrifices these service men and women have made to keep us safe, and can think of no better way to thank them for their service than by helping them find their place in the workforce when they return home," said Commissioner Butler in a press release.
