These three Cartersville homes for sale are each listed for or less than $20,000.

Take a look at the trio of homes that are the least expensive for sale in 

• The bank-owned home at 5 Pittman St. was built in 1940 and has been on the market 159 days. The two-bedroom, one-bathroom, ranch or bungalow/cottage style home is listed for $14,500. It has no laundry area or cooling system, but is in within walking distance to local parks and schools. The home on a 11,021-square-foot lot has storm doors, wall-to-wall carpeting, a porch and two-car garage.

• Listed for $17,000, the three-bedroom, one-bathroom home at 16 William Drive was constructed in 1950. On the market for 714 days, the seller is a financial institution and says the ranch home would be a great investment property. The house once was listed for more than $50,000.

• The one-bedroom, one-bath home at 451 Wilderness Camp Road was built in 1965, sits on less than 1 acre and has been on the market 365 days. While it's on lakefront property and has water and dock rights, the cabin or cottage does not have central air conditioning. Instead, electric window units cool the home while a central, electric system heats it. It's listed for $20,000, down from $30,000 about a year ago.
