Choi Kwang Do is active in the community, is an official Safe Place and has multiple CPR/AED/First Aid certified instructors. Choi Kwang Do has also been a part of the Cartersville community for over nine years now. No other academy has helped so many grow both mentally and physically in the Cartersville area.

Choi Kwang Do Cartersville Rocks! Our youngest son started 3 years ago. His health has improved and his attitude and confidence are wonderful! This year, the rest of the family has joined. We're getting in better shape, making friends, and having fun!

Choi Kwang Do of Cartersville is the BEST of the BEST ! It is the only activity we include in our every day life .Just ask my 10 year old , an honor student , who had rather miss a birthday party than to miss a class with Mr. Michael Wilson ! We are treated like family , allowed to train at our own pace and leave feeling like we. accomplished another GOAL . I give 2 votes since I also joined in , recieving my 2nd colored belt and Im in my 40s. Choi Kwang Do is the reason we still live in Cartersville ! =)

Choi Kwang Do Cartersville - They are very family oriented. Choi Kwang Do has a great group of qualified internationally certified instructors, a very clean facility and an overall awesome environment for all - both children and adults. Choi Kwang Do helps out in the community as often as they can and loves to support Advocates for Children and anything they are involved in! Definitely the top martial arts studio in Cartersville!

My son has been going to Choi Kwang Do Cartersville 15 months now and everyone has really helped build up his confidence. He has something to look forward to knowing he will gain another stripe to his belt and get to the next belt level. He is also looking forward to becoming a black belt...he can't wait and he is so excited anytime he has accomplished something!

Choi Kwang Do Cartersville is a fun, family friendly martial arts school. There are classes for all ages and abilities. My family has three generation that participate. My youngest started at age 3 in the tiny tiger class. My 10 year old is part of the black belt club. My 14 year old daughter is part of a special team of role models. My mother at age 67 has also started ckd. She enjoys the senior citizens class. I am 35 and enjoy both the family class where I participate with my children and the adult class where I have met some great people. CKD is not only about punching and kicking. It helps build character by setting goals and promoting friendly relationship. Just recently my son raised $1500 for Advocates For Children because of a special promotion Ckd was having. If you're looking for a place to train in the martial arts CKD Cartersville is the place.

When I started I didn't like to speak out to much. I was timid. After I started training at CKD I grew less and less timid about speaking out and now I am part of the STORM team, or Special Team Of Role Models. Thanks alot Mr. Wilson.

Our family began training with Michael and Angie Wilson over 6 years ago. We were looking for a place for our son, who was in first grade at the time, to help him focus at school. The school was highly encouraging for our son to go on medicine to help with his foucus however my husband and I refused to go the medicine route. Once we met, Michael and Angie, we knew Cartersville Choi Kwang Do was the right place. In the 6 years, our entire family trains and we are active members of the instructor team as well as 3 2nd degree black belts with our daughter to test for second degree September.. We have watched the school thrive and grow exponentially. Michael and Angie have been an integral part of our family and we are proud to be part of Cartersville Choi Kwang Do.

Coffey Bjj and fitness has truly made an amazing impact on me physically and mentally. I've lost over 40 pounds in the last 4 months training Bjj twice a week. E eryone there is like family and there aren't any egos there. It's a very clean facility with world class instruction from Chip Coffey 2x Bjj champ and black belt under Roberto traven, and Many Ntoh 6x world muay Thai champ. The classes are fun, a great way to get in shape and develop self-confidence.

World Class instruction in realistic martial arts available right here in Cartersville, At Coffey BJJ you will learn real, effective self defense from instructors that have put their skills to the test and competed in the World Championships, Pan American Championships, Mixed Martial Arts matches in a cage and Muay Thai matches in Thailand. With members that range from 60 year olds wanting get in shape, 4 year olds that need to expend some energy, women wanting to learn what has been quoted as "the most effective form of self defense for women", to young men and women is their 20s planning on competing at the World Championships, Coffey BJJ can help you reach whatever goal you may set. At the same time, the academy's motto is "Don't join a team, join a family". Never met a better bunch of people in one place!

Coffey BJJ and fitness is an awesome place to train and get in shape. Jiu Jitsu is a very practical and realistic self defense martial art without all the fluff. Coffey BJJ offers the anti bullying Kids Jitsu program as well as women's only jiu jitsu for the ladies who want to feel safe. Coffey BJJ also offers a Muay Thai kickboxing class taught by Manu Ntoh a 6x World Champion and striking coach to several UFC fighters. So, whether you want to defend yourself or family or ladies want to feel secure and confident when alone or with their children or you want your children to have discipline and self respect this is the place for you. No fluff or flashy imagery, katas or things that wouldn't work on a larger, stronger opponent. BJJ is based on the premise of teaching the smaller and weaker to learn timing, leverage and technique to defend against larger foes.

Coffey BJJ is an amazing family to be part of! I've never been to a facility with so many talented, respectful coaches! By far the best in town!

We love Coffey BJJ & Fitness. Our oldest daughter (5) has been taking kid-jitsu for around a year now & our youngest (3) can't wait to start - she used to cry when she didn't get to go & watch! As a father, I want my daughters in a martial arts program to build their confidence, improve their discipline, be phsyically active (vs. watching tv or playing video games) & know how to defend themselves. From the very first session my daughter was being taught how to both get out from under someone as well as effective defensive techniques from the bottom position. The kid-jitsu coaches are awesome - patient, caring & good examples for the kids they teach. On top of all of this, it's like several others have said - when you attend Coffey BJJ it's like your a part of a big family. Side note: It's pretty awesome that we have so many people bragging on their local martial arts place!
