Local Job Alert: Goodwill Career Fair Set for Thursday
Businesses in and around Cartersville are hiring and Goodwill could help you land a job. Cartersville Patch also has some other employment leads for job seekers.
What better way to get face to face with employers than a job fair? Locals looking for employment will get the chance Thursday to make a good impression and maybe land an interview.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 's new Career Center is hosting nearly a dozen employers that will be accepting resumes and recruiting for open positions in a variety of fields, including customer service, warehouse, light industrial and administration.
, more than 1,000 people have used Goodwill's career center services and more than 140 people have landed a job as a result.

During the job fair, the center will be open to visitors interested in using the resources, which include computers to conduct online job searches and prepare resumes, photocopiers, current local job listings and more. The services are free and open to the general public.
Job seekers are asked to dress professionally and bring several copies of resumes. If interested in applying for a job, bring two forms of identification.
