Last Day for Home Depot's Christmas Light Trade-In Event

This year's program offers up to $5 in credit towards new Christmas tree lights at the Home Depot.

If you have an assortment of twisted, non-working, pre-used Christmas tree lights, then you have one day left to stop by the Home Depot in Cartersville and trade them in.

As part of their fifth annual Eco Options Christmas Light Trade-In event, you can bring your old working or non-working lights and receive a coupon for up to $5 off the purchase of energy efficient seasonal light-emitting diodes string lights - commonly known as LED lights.

According to Home Depot, customers can receive $3, $4 or $5 vouchers toward more energy efficient Christmas lights. Each customer can redeem up to five old lights. This special is scheduled to run out so today is the day if you intend on taking advantage of this special offer.

Energy-efficient lights cut down your electricity bill, but they do cost more up-front. With the coupon offered by Home Depot, you will easily spend less than you would with regular Christmas lights.
