Halloween City Hiring in Cartersville

Several seasonal positions are available at the Halloween superstore, which offers holiday costumes, accessories and decor.

Halloween City, which operates a chain of temporary holiday stores, is hiring throughout the country and Georgia, including in Cartersville.

A division of Party City, it now operates in 30-plus states more than 400 Halloween superstores, which sell holiday costumes, accessories and decor, according to the company's website.

In Cartersville, the Halloween City store in the Market Square shopping center on E. Tennessee Street, is hiring for these positions:

General Manager
According to the job listing, the full-time general manager would act as a Halloween City representative to the buying public and be responsible for driving sales, reducing controllable expenses and the day-to-day operations of a temporary retail store.

Assistant Manager 
The Assistant Manager would assist the general manager in a number of activities including personnel tasks, customer service and sales, processing freight and inventory and preparing for the next Halloween holiday, according to the job listing.

Halloween Specialist 
Also known as a store specialist, the Halloween specialist would be responsible for assisting customers, helping meet or exceed daily sales goals and several other duties, including the possibility of cross-training as a cashier, the job listing says.

Halloween City, which trains its employees, said in a mass email it's looking for general managers, assistant managers and Halloween specialist throughout the country. All associates get a 30 percent discount.
