Community Theater Group Seeks to Hire Part-Time Office Manager

The Pumphouse Players Inc., nonprofit community theater in Cartersville, is seeking a part-time Community Theater Office Manager, who would report to the president and board of directors.

Duties of the administrative position include responsibility for the theatre box office, printed and electronic documents, and media relations.

One of north Georgia’s oldest running community theaters, The Pumphouse Players produce live theater shows using volunteer actors and production staff at Cartersville's historic Legion Theatre. 

Here's more about the job:

General Responsibilities
• Answering phones, making reservations, and website updates
• Assist in theatre daily operations and patron experience
• Manage daily box office functions
• Responsible for maintaining theater records
• Prepare proposals and contracts for potential clients
• Responsible for all event print materials
• Aiding with the development and execution of marketing strategies, advertising, and promotions
• Execute on-site events and serve as on-site contact to clients
• Coordinating off-site marketing and PR functions
• Assist with sales efforts by presenting the venue to potential clients
• Work hours will be Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm (20 hours per week)

Qualifications
• Basic office management skills
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Publisher and Excel
• Proficiency with social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and Wordpress
• Excellent prioritization skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
