Century Bank Gives $5,000 to Museum

The donation will help fund the Bartow History Museum's educational programs.

Representatives of the in Cartersville presented the with a check for $5,000 to support the museum's efforts Wednesday morning.

“We are very appreciative of the community-mindedness of Century Bank of Georgia and that they are supporting us in this way,” museum Executive Director Trey Gaines said in a news release. “The donation will allow us to expand our exhibitions and future program offerings.”

Said Century Bank Chief Executive Officer Rick Drews: “As Cartersville’s only community bank, we find it extremely important to support Bartow County and the organizations like Bartow History Museum that help ensure that the rich history of this community is never forgotten.”
