Bartow Schools Join Student Broadcast Program

Cass, Adairsville students can learn to produce TV events.

Cass and Adairsville high schools are among the nine new members in Georgia of a national school broadcast program.

The program allows schools to produce and stream TV-like sporting events and school activities for live and on-demand viewing via a school portal on the NFHS Network.

Eighty-six schools in Georgia now participate in the program, which is typically part of a broadcast class curriculum or afterschool club. It provides students training and live production experience.

“Georgia high schools have a unique opportunity to be part of the NFHS Network with all of its educational benefits and opportunities for exposure,”
says Mark Rothberg, Director of the Sports Broadcast Program.

Online video portals for participating schools can be found by searching the school’s name in the “school” drop down menu here.
