Share the AdvoLove in Photo Project

Advocates for Bartow's Children is asking for the community's support and participation in its community-wide photo adventure.

is asking members of the community for support via participation in its Share the AdvoLove campaign, a community-wide photo adventure to display positive messages of why Advocates' programs make a difference in Bartow.

Friends, supporters and neighbors participate by:

  1. Visit Duck Central in West End Commons at 650 Henderson Drive, Suite 408, in Cartersville, to pose for your photo. Drop in during available hours:
    • Thursday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.;
    • Friday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and
    • Saturday, April 21, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  2. Write your message on the poster provided by Advocates.
  3. Have fun! Your photo can be a group shot or solo. Bring pets, children, props or anything else to help express your message.

Photos will premier at Advocates' May 11 Rockin’ on the River Concert at and be distributed for display this summer in local businesses.

"Everyone and anyone is encouraged to participate! Your contribution to Share the AdvoLove will help to raise awareness about our kids in need, what is being done for them, and how you and others can help," officials said in the press release.

"Advocates for Children is more than a children’s shelter and more than the annual Duck Derby event. We directly touch the lives of over 2,600 children and families every year through our wide continuum of services.
