Pumphouse Players 'Run for Your Wife' a Rip-Roaring Comedy

Shows of the story of a man with two wives are set for the Cartersville's Legion Theater from Jan. 25 to Feb. 2.

Up next for local theater group Pumphouse Players is playwright Ray Cooney’s Run for Your Wife.

Directed by Mike Wasson, it's the story of taxi driver John Smith, played by Mike Davis, who gets away with having two wives in different areas of London.

Trouble brews when the cabbie is mugged and ends up in the hospital, where both of his addresses surface. The situation spurs an investigation by two different police officers, and it appears John’s double life is about to explode.
