Hot Tickets: Eagles, Allman, Kings of Leon

There are a lot of hot tickets out there for rock fans in the metro area, especially for those of Baby Boomer age.

The Eagles will make a tour stop at Philips Arena on Feb. 24, 2014. Band members have described the tour as their last, and it's likely to continue through 2015. 

While tickets for the concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9,  American Express has a pre-sale running from 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, through 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8. At this writing, ticket prices have not been announced.

Tickets can be purchased at www.livenation.com, the Philips Arena box office or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Tickets for well-known performers already on sale Friday, Nov. 1, included:

Celebrating the Songs & Voice of Gregg Allman. 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10. Fox Theatre. $75-$225.  What a lineup! Guests include The Allman Brothers Band, Trace Adkins, Jackson Browne, Natalie Cole, John Hiatt, Don Was,   Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Taj Mahal, Keb’ Mo’, Martina McBride, Pat Monahan of Train, Sam Moore, Robert Randolph, Susan Tedeschi and Widespread Panic. 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10. Buddy Guy. The blues legend joins with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. 8 p.m. Feb. 13. Atlanta Symphone Hall $35.50-$77.50. Tickets: Ticketmaster

George Thorogood & The Destroyers.  Still "Bad to the Bone." 8 p.m. March 11. Center Stage. $30-$32. Tickets: Ticketmaster.
