Battle of Allatoona Pass

On Saturday, Oct 1, 2011 from 9 AM to 5 PM, Red Top Mountain State Parks hosts the Battle of Allatoona Pass.  Come and tour the hillside and railroad cut through historic Allatoona Pass. Walk the trails, visit the star fort earthworks, and follow the old Tennessee Road just as Civil War soldiers did in 1864. Explore daily life in the tent city, and see rifle and cannon firing demonstrations. (Located near Red Top Mountain State Park.)
