Bartow History Museum Summer Camp Registration

Register your camper today for a summer filled with fun!!!  We have several day and week-long camps to choose from- something for everyone!  Call 770-387-3849 to register. 

Fun With Food, June 6 (for ages 4-6) and June 7 (for ages 7-11)- Join the BHM Education Support Staff in making all kinds of fun historic food. From bread and pudding to old fashioned cookies, campers will enjoy exploring America’s culinary history. Camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at noon. Price is $18 for members and $20 for not-yet-members. Registration deadline: 6/1

Fantastic Fifties, June 13 (for ages 4-6) and June 14 (for ages 7-11)- Travel back in time to the 1950’s to explore the games, crafts, and adventures of the time period. Campers will enjoy music, food, clothes and much more. Camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at noon. Price is $18 for members and $20 for not-yet-members. Registration deadline:  6/9 at 5pm

Revolutionary Women, June 20-24 (Week long Camp for girls ages 7-11)- Girls, discover the lives of several extraordinary women in America’s history from the 1700’s to the twentieth century. From Pocahontas to Clara Barton to Amelia Earhart. The girls will participate in games, crafts and activities related to these women. The week will end with our annual ladies tea. Light refreshments will be provided each day. Camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at noon. Price is $90 for members and $100 for not-yet-members. Registration deadline: 6/16 at 5pm

 

Let Freedom Ring! 1776 Summer Camp, June 27 (for ages 4-6) and June 28 (for ages 7-11)- Celebrate the birthday of America with fun games, music and patriotic crafts. Campers will learn about the lives of children during the birth of America and participate in colonial activities such as making homemade butter. Camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will end at noon. Price is $18 for members and $20 for not-yet-members. Registration deadline: 6/23 at 5pm

 

Bartow History Museum Summer Camp, July 11-15 (Week long camp for boys and girls)- Explore Bartow’s history as you travel through the Museum each day and learn about the people who came before you. Campers will participate in games, crafts, and activities related to the Museum’s exhibits. From the Cherokee to World War II, each day will be filled with the knowledge and excitement of Bartow’s citizens of the past. Light refreshments will be provided each day. Camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at noon. Price is $90 for members and $100 for not-yet-members. Registration deadline: 7/7 at 5pm

 

Bartow Carnival Camp, July 18 (for ages 4-6) and July 19 (for ages 7-11)- Imagine that you are visiting an old fashioned carnival at the Bartow History Museum! Campers will experience the games, crafts, and food of an old-timey carnival. Camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will end at noon. Price is $18 for members and $20 for not-yet-members. Registration deadline: 7/14 at 5pm

 

Yo-ho Bartow: The Pirate’s Life for Me, July 25-29 (Week long camp for boys ages 7-11)- Boys, become pirates at the Bartow History Museum. Campers will play games, make telescopes and eye-patches, and find the treasures! Light refreshments will be provided each day. Camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at noon. Price is $90 for members and $100 for not-yet-members. Registration deadline: 7/21 at 5pm
